Public Policy Exchange – Period Education Talk
I was thrilled to speak again for the third year running at the Public Policy Exchange, a UK-based organisation that brings together policymakers, educators, and health professionals to tackle pressing social and educational issues.
This space is vital for sharing voices that demand change and evidence-based action and as someone passionate about real period education, it’s where my voice needs to be.
In my online talk, “Eat, Sleep, Bleed, Repeat”, I challenged the outdated 28-day cycle narrative, covering the reality of heavy bleeding, leaks, and painful periods. No sugarcoating, no myths, just honest conversations about what real menstruation looks like and how schools and parents can support young people in understanding it.
Being part of this panel allows me to push for improved, evidence-led menstrual education, and share practical tips for making classrooms and conversations open, honest, and empowering.
