Workshops for kids

My primary workshops, projects, and events are designed for school-aged children and the wider community. Aligned with RSHE guidance for KS1 & KS2, every session is age-appropriate, child-led, and delivered by qualified, DBS-checked staff.

Ask a Stupid Question Day

Event | Workshops

A fun, interactive event where children submit RSHE questions in advance. We arrive ready to answer anything openly and safely, like a human Google for young minds.

Beatbullying Mini Mentors

Training Day | Workshops

Children learn empathy, leadership, and how to be upstanders. This training tackles bullying, supports positive friendships, and explores the powerful role of bystanders in change.

The Girls Room Project

In Person | Online

A supportive space for girls to explore identity, friendships, health, and resilience, giving them tools to grow in confidence and speak openly about issues that matter.

The Boys Room Project

In Person | Online

Helping boys navigate friendships, emotions, and wellbeing, this project builds empathy, positive role models, and confidence while challenging unhelpful stereotypes in a safe environment.

Mooch Walk & Talk Project

Small Groups

A walking group where we meet children and explore their local community together. Walking time is used to build friendships, tackle issues, and spark honest conversations.

Keeping Kids Safe Online

Guest Speaker | Workshop

Designed by a trained journalist with a TikTok star, this workshop teaches digital safety, offers space to ask questions, and even includes fun dancing moments.

Consent for Kids

Workshop

Interactive and child-friendly, this session introduces consent in everyday contexts, helping children understand respect, personal boundaries, and positive communication from an early age.

Sex Ed

Workshop

Age-appropriate and parent opt-in, this workshop answers big questions, including how babies are made. Delivered sensitively, so families don’t have to navigate these alone.

The Period Talk

Workshop

Breaking taboos with confidence, this workshop normalises conversations about periods, providing accurate knowledge, reassurance, and practical skills for managing menstrual health positively.

Getting Help

Workshop

Encouraging empathy and action, this workshop empowers children to ask for support, notice when friends need help, and understand how to access safe trusted adults.

All About Puberty

Workshop

An honest, supportive introduction to body changes, emotions, and growing up. Children leave with knowledge, reassurance, and confidence to navigate this important stage.

The Self Care Fair

Event

A fun wellbeing fair covering sun safety, dental health, personal hygiene, and sleep. Children explore activities that build resilience and everyday habits for a healthy life.

“My daughter took part in workshops with Kerry at New Islington Academy where she delivered The Period Talk. I had met Kerry before, through her work at the secondary I work at but hearing about her workshops from my child’s voice and listening to her talk about her own body and changes so confidently made me want to reach out and thank Kerry personally.”
