Teen Coaching for Girls & Young Women
Confident. Resilient. Empowered.
What is Pretty Tough?
Pretty Tough, 1:1 teen coaching is a structured, goal-focused, non-clinical support process designed to equip girls and young women with life skills through guided conversation, activities, and space for self-reflection.
‘It is not therapy or counselling’.

Teen coaching does not diagnose or treat mental illness. Instead, it supports girls and young women who are facing overwhelming barriers in their lives, around school, friendships, or self-belief.
It can be a great and successful early intervention tool for girls and young women who are awaiting access local mental health services or who do not fit the criteria.

Pretty Tough is designed to help with:
- Low self-esteem or confidence
- Friendship or unhealthy relationship situations
- Social media and risky online behaviours
- Body Image Pressures
- Family changes (e.g. divorce, separation, moving house)
- Aspirations and goals
- Conflict and emotions
- Transition periods (e.g. Year 6–7, Year 9, post-16)
I work with local authorities, social prescribing, schools, colleges, and youth organisations to deliver coaching as part of early intervention, behaviour support, or enrichment provision.
