I have spent more that 25 years working with young people, educators, and communities. My books and resources are rooted in real life and relevant content, shaped by the voices of young people, policy and youth work practice and they have one goal, for young people to become confident, resilient and empowered!

Over the past few years, I’ve been commissioned by charities, local authorities, and national organisations to create trusted resources that support young people’s health, relationships, and wellbeing. My work includes writing the Tameside RSE Curriculum Resource (2018, updated 2024), the Wellbeing Toolkit for Teens (Salford CVS), and the Happy and Safe Relationships resource for Oldham Safeguarding Children Partnership, alongside national projects such as Comprehensive Lesson Plans and Resources for Schools and Parents (Eve Appeal) and Smoke Free Gates: PSHE Resource for Schools.
This body of commissioned work, designed to be practical, engaging, and evidence-based, has led to the publication of my first book Relationships, Sex and Health Education 101 (Jessica Kingsley Publishers, 2022). My second book, Behind Every Strong Girl is a Strong Girls Group, is due for release soon.
