Cup Confessions: Periods, Freedom & Intimina

Gifted by Intimina

Ladies, let’s talk about period freedom. Thanks to the amazing people at Intimina, I’ve had the chance to explore their full range of menstrual cups and discs, not personally (this post is about education, not a review diary!), but after learning all about their products, I am now equipped to knowledgeably and confidently talk about these options with women and girls everywhere.

These little pink wonders are designed to fit every body, from the first period to menopause, offering more comfort, control, and a sustainable alternative to pads and tampons.

Cups collect rather than absorb, discs give you more movement freedom, and all of them help normalise the conversation about menstruation…because as you know knowledge is power!

Intimina’s Softcup is a flexible, disposable disc that sits comfortably for hours, perfect for active days or nights out.

Their Caya Cup and Lily Cup offer reusable, sustainable solutions for those looking to reduce waste, with sizes and shapes to suit different flows and anatomies.

And then there’s the Moon Cup, a pioneer in the reusable cup space, its durable, eco-friendly.

The discs and cups might seem a little intimidating at first, but they’re surprisingly easy to use once you get the hang of them.

Some of the women I meet, swear by these and say the disc especially have been a game-changer. They collect rather than absorb, meaning there is less irritation, fewer leaks, they are everything we are looking for, especially when we are at the forefront of the room everyday with often only 5 minutes inbetween workshops to pee!

Sharing this info with my audience is what I am here for! No shame, no taboo, just open and honest information so women can make choices that work for them.
