We’d had our tickets to Daresbury Festival for ages, so you’d think deciding what to wear would have been a breeze but in the run up to this date I had bought, tried on, and returned about 97 outfits. (Alright, not really 97 but you know…added for comedy value) The weather forecast was that we were in the middle on a heatwave but this day they also decided there would be storms.

Anyway, I opted for my trusted and already owned Scamp and Dude dress with cowboy boots and a lovely pink rain mac for any planned and unpredictable rain.

We hopped in an Uber and arrived at Walton Hall & Gardens where there was instant vibes and sunshine and I was well looking forward to it and keen not to repeat my Moovin Madness of 2023 (see the blog Archives for that story).

From the lineup, the DJs I was looking forward to seeing were Groove Armada, Roger Sanchez, David Morales and Graeme Park and Inner City were the live guest

As usual the crowds were lovely, at these day raves, the clientele are always a bit more seasoned (like us), but they have still got it and haven’t hung their dancing shoes up yet!

Overall its been a good weekend, sun, showers, and dancing with more DJ sets ticked off my list. Anyway, I’m off to Skiddle to find my next dance party 🙂
