8 Hours in London…Coffee, Croissants & 30k Steps

By

After Laurie came up to Manchester, I decided to flip the script and head down to London for a cheeky 48-hour visit. Sometimes you just need more girlie time, no questions asked.

We kicked things off Friday morning in Highgate, mooching through the quirky little high street shops and picking up bits we absolutely did not need but had to have.

The weather was on our side, so we ended up at The Red Lion and Sun pub, cocktails in hand, food in the sun.

Saturday was all about Angel, one of our fave hangouts. Vintage record shopping and taking pretty pictures on every corner, we started the day with pistachio croissants, cocktails along the way and ended up with food at Gail’s and people-watching before it was time for me to hop on the train back to Manchester.

30,000 steps later, it was of my fave little London trips in a while.

And since it’s her 27th birthday tomorrow, happy birthday to my beautiful Loz Poz (Laurie 💖) I’m so proud of everything you do, the person you are, and the happiness you bring to everyone’s life. Watching you smash it with 4 million people cheering you on (and me at the front, obvs) is my greatest flex.

Here’s to more weekends like this.
