So, in true Kerry style, I asked you all for recommendations on a new hoover and steam mop…and then completely ignored you all and bought the pink ones. Because honestly, when faced with sensible adult decisions vs. pink aesthetic vibes, we all know which way I’m going!
So enter, the household my new Swan spring clean gadgets. A shiny pink hoover and a matching steam mop! Do they make me happy? Yes. Do they actually work? …well, let’s talk.
The hoover claims it has 120 minutes of charge. In reality…it’s more like 1 minute 20 seconds by time im halfway through this tiny pink house, the hoover, no matter how lovely is already out of breath! Not happy with that, but easy to empty, not to heavy and does the job.
The steam mop…Yeah, she looks the part, and she gets the big stuff done… but when it comes to getting up to the skirts or any awkward little corners and nooks, I’m still having to drag out my old-school Vileda girl. Turns out, the classics just can’t be replaced.
That all being said, I regret nothing. They’re pink, and they look standing in the corner of my hallway, and they make cleaning slightly less boring. And sometimes, that’s all a girl needs.
