So this year, Valentine’s looked a little different for me.
No candlelit dinners, no roses, no “table for two.” Instead, it was me, my son, my boyfriend… and Craig David. Yep, you read that right.
Remi is a huge Craig David fan and had never been to a concert before, so when I saw he was playing at Co-op Live, I knew what I had to do. Goodbye fancy meal, and hello beer and bouncing…zero regrets!
It was such a vibe, Remi’s face was absolutely lit up, and I’ll never forget it. The arena was packed with mums and sons (turns out this is an actual thing!), and the energy was pretty good. It felt like the perfect way to spend Valentine’s day celebrating love in a bigger, louder, more real way.
So yeah…would I recommend swapping roses for raving with your kids? Absolutely. Maybe not every week…but for one night? 100%.
