If you’re looking for a festival that’s all about dancing, good vibes, and amazing music, the Moovin Festival is the place to be! Held in Stockports, Etherow Country Park this event had everything, a fantastic lineup and a good cool energy that made you want to dance from the first beat. And as you probably know, me and Carl love a good dance so this was perfect for us!
The lineup for 2024 was absolutely killer, with acts like Leftfield (who we’d been dying to see), Graeme Park, and so many more bringing their A-game. The crowd was buzzing, and the music had us on our feet all day. Leftfield’s set was particularly amazing, bringing that unique electronic sound that had the whole crowd moving. We were in our element, bouncing to the beats and soaking up the energy. Honestly, it was one of the best times we’ve had in a while, just letting go and losing ourselves in the music.

But then… on the way home, things took a little turn. Somehow, we managed to tumble down an embankment (don’t ask me how, because we still don’t really know), and next thing we knew, we were both in the canal. Now, I’m not one to do water unless it’s in the form of a shower, so you can imagine my surprise and not in a good way, when I found myself splashing down into the murky depths, cried the whole way home, FML hahaha.
There were a few cuts and scrapes, a lost Stussy hat (RIP), and a whole lot of “how did we even end up here?” moments. But hey, we made it out with a good laugh (and, of course, a few scars to remember the moment). See below for the aftermath 😦

All in all, Moovin Festival was a blast, amazing tunes, great crowd, and an unexpected swim for me and Carl to laugh about for years. It’s all part of the adventure, right? Next year, we’ll be back, just maybe a bit more careful near those embankments!
