This July, me, Carl, and Remi decided to take a family holiday to Ayia Napa, and let me tell you, it was exactly what we needed! We flew out from Manchester to Larnaca Airport on the 17th of July 2024, with everything sorted through TUI on an all-inclusive package, perfect for a hassle-free break.
We stayed at the Tasia Maris Beach Hotel & Spa, which was a lovely place to stay. The hotel is right by the beach, with stunning views and plenty of space to relax. The all-inclusive deal was perfect, meaning we could enjoy endless food, drinks, and all the amenities without a care in the world. The hotel had everything you could want—a great pool, a spa, and a choice of dining options. But honestly, most of our time was spent making full use of that all-inclusive package. From cocktails by the pool to family feast, it was the ultimate easygoing holiday.

Remi, being a teenager, is a bit trickier to keep entertained, but Ayia Napa came through. The water sports were a huge hit, and Remi and Carl had a blast on the jet skis. He even got to enjoy his first nightclub experience in Ayia Napa Town, he’s at that age where he’s ready to start exploring the local nightlife, and he loved it!
Despite being surrounded by all the fun, we still made time for our usual Sunday tradition. As always, we took a trip to a little chapel by the beach for Sunday service.
Some of the best moments were when Remi, who has you may know is usually so picky with food. He lives off chicken and rice, so we weren’t sure how he’d feel about the local cuisine. But guess what? He tried octopus! Not just any octopus he actually ate it, and even enjoyed it! I think the sun, sea, and possible a few cheeky cocktails pushed him to try something new.

Nissi Beach was also a must-visit, with its golden sands and crystal-clear waters. Whether we were lounging in the sun, kicking a ball about of splashing in the sea, it was the perfect setting to make family memories.
Overall, this trip to Ayia Napa was everything we hoped for super relaxing, fun, and full of memories. If you’re looking for a holiday with a perfect balance of relaxation and adventure, I highly recommend this place. Plus, the all-inclusive package made it that much easier to enjoy everything without worrying about the little things!
Until next time, Ayia Napa!
